BBC Radio Wales Science Café

Adam Walton from BBC Radio Wales Science Café visited the Science Pavilion at the 2014 National Eisteddfod of Wales. The Eisteddfod, held in Llanelli from 1st – 9th August brings together people from across the county to take part in a wide range of activities and events promoting the National Eisteddfod.

The Science Pavilion is one of the most popular pavilions on the Eisteddfod Maes. The main aim of the Pavilion is to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) to the people of Wales.

On 5th August, Dr Trystan Watson from SPECIFIC gave a lecture at the Pavilion on Buildings as Powerhouses, talking about the research and development carried out at SPECIFIC.
