The UK’s first energy-positive office, which generates more solar energy than it consumes, will be opened at Swansea University on 21st June.

Following the success at Constructing Excellence Wales 2017, where the Active Classroom won the ‘Innovation Award’, the classroom has been shortlisted for further recognition at the Building Awards 2017.
The ‘Active Classroom’ built by Swansea University’s SPECIFIC Innovation and Knowledge Centre (IKC), has won the Innovation Award in The Construction Excellence Wales awards which celebrate the best of the construction industry in Wales.
